China

Dear Family and Friends,

Hello from China, I am enjoying my stay in China. When we arrived we got news that China had a real need for Bibles, but weren't able to purchase them because of the customs. Our job as God's servants was to carry Bibles into China. On our first trip half of us were victorious in making it across. The others learned patience from what God wanted for them.

The next day there was a man who we nicknamed Sarge, who caught us all and had a smug grin on his face from doing it. This taught me from my experiences to not be afraid to try and if you fail once, twice, three times or more because of your faith you will continue to persevere. Sometimes things are difficult in life, but God doesn't want everything to be easy because if we fail when it's easy what happens when life gets hard? Some people may just give up.

So after five attempts of going through customs I made it 3 out of the 5 times. This has opened my eyes to how amazing just one Bible is for all of those millions of people in China who have nothing. That one Bible that makes it through means the world to someone and make my world knowing that I helped make that possible.

I love you all and miss you,

Love,Heather
